When you have delicious beer on tap, every day is a celebration. Now, we know Mardi Gras happened over a month ago, but we brewed this Hurricane cocktail-inspired sour that is so good we just had to release it now. Better late than never, right?

Jammy, sweet, and certainly booze-tastic, “Fat Tuesday” is one great big party in a glass. Made with strawberry puree and aged in Muddy River rum barrels, you’ll find bright berry notes on the nose and palate with distinct ribbons of rum flavor throughout. Surprisingly smooth, this beer goes down easy but be careful– at 8.7% abv, this one sure does pack a punch!

Don’t forget to come back this Saturday for our 2nd Annual Earth Day Party and Vendor Fair! We’ll be doing a street cleanup around the neighborhood starting at 10am (everyone is welcome!) and hosting a variety of environmentally conscious and sustainable vendors from 12pm-4pm. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about how you can do your part to help our community and support businesses who do. Get the scoop here on our FB event page.

Every Day’s a Party!: In French, “fat Tuesday” translates to “mardi gras.” The carnival-like celebration (also called Shrove Tuesday) is in close association with the religious practice of Lent, the six-week observation period from Ash Wednesday to Easter. People would bulk up on rich, fatty foods before fasting for Lent.
