From one end of NoDa to the other, there are a number of cool things on our side of town. We have one of the most creative areas in Charlotte where artists and musicians can thrive, and where restaurants, bars and breweries can be found on every corner. All in all, we’re pretty lucky to call this corner of the world home.

To celebrate the diversity that is North Davidson, we teamed up with Divine Barrel to bring you a funky brew that embodies our bright and unique neighborhood. “Bookends” brings upfront juicy aromatics of pink guava with a refreshingly tart bite. With hefty doses of El Dorado, Idaho Gem and Comet hops, this beer is lip-smackingly good and will definitely be one of your new favorite drinks for the season. We’re releasing it on tap and in cans, so get some while they last!

Don’t forget about our Memorial Day Pig Pickin’ with Sweet Lew’s on Sunday 5/26 from 12-3pm. Join us for an afternoon of tasty BBQ, cold beer, good vibes and sunshine! OH, and since we’re on the topic… have you voted for Birdsong yet as your favorite solar-powered brewery? Click here or the image below to cast your vote!

Did you know? According to Wikipedia, bookbinding may have originated in India, but many cultures (e.g. Egyptian and Roman) also had methods of binding and storing written documents. The practice is still alive today. In Charlotte you can find 9 different book binders in the Yellow Pages.
